Annie Riche
  Annie Riche

Annie Riche, our beloved cook, brings years of professional cooking experience gained through her travels across Newfoundland. Originally from Bonavista Bay in the eastern region of the island, Annie has lived and worked in many communities both rural and urban. These combined experiences bring to her cooking, a love for the old culture one finds in the outport communities, yet with the range of knowledge garnered from working with European chef's in the larger centers.

Katie Challen

A great addition to our team (& quickly becoming indispensable) Katie Challen divides her time between serving guests in the morning & maintaining the houses.  Katie brings with her experience not only from working at a B&B in Ovid, but from helping her parents & siblings operate Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery, their family business located in Ovid, in central NY State.

A recent migrant to St John¹s, Katie & her boyfriend Brian, a Military Police Officer, live conveniently up the street! When not fretting about the sheets in the dryer, Katie has visions of returning to farming, & working closely again with her family.

  Bill Kennedy

At 25 years old our truly appreciated gardener Bill Kennedy is currently working on a Masters Degree in Philosophy on the Political Native of Thought at MUN.  Along with the intention of becoming a University Professor, Bill is an avid farmer & gardener, & keeps his own garden in Conception Harbour where he & his family are from originally.  When he isn¹t tending to the spinach or planting annuals, Bill reads, hikes, trouts, writes &
philosophizes, naturally.

  Donna Leblanc

Donna Leblanc is new to Angel House, but not to her duties in the morning serving guests or in housekeeping as she has experience in both departments working at B&B¹s in the city.  Born & raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Donna came to St John¹s to study at MUN where she is a French major, with a minor in English. Her favorite time to date in Newfoundland was the term spent in French immersion on the Island of Saint-Pierre, Miquelon.  If you are planning a trip to visit France while you are in Newfoundland, ask Donna what you should do, & ask her in French, s¹il vous plâit.
